Ingham County, Michigan District Court may refer traffic offenses for a BDIC, basic driver improvement course for traffic ticket/citations in their court. The district court sometimes orders the offenders for a specific traffic violation such as speeding or as an option for a court agreed deferral of a ticket/citation fine. The State of Michigan sometimes sends letters to drivers license holders who have too many driving points for traffic tickets/citations on their driving record or driver’s license number.
The Ingham County bdic basic driver improvement course can remove points from you driver’s license history or record upon completion. This is done completely online in your spare time. You may register now and start it when you have time. There’s no particular time frame involved.
We will notify the Michigan Department of State electronically that you have passed the course. The Michigan Department of State (SOS) will not add any points from the ticket to your driving record and will not show the ticket information to insurance companies.
